Last week, the International Microscopy Conference (IMC21) was held in Liverpool, where the worldwide expertise in (electron) microscopy converged for an amazing conference with cutting-edge research. MCC was well represented in both the oral presentations and poster session:

Hannah Dickinson presented a poster on her work about silver electrodeposition studied with liquid cell in-situ TEM.

Petra gave a talk on the work done by Suzan Schoemaker and Tom Welling using in-situ TEM for methane pyrolysis

Jessi van der Hoeven presented on work from Marta about in-situ gas phase 4D STEM for strain mapping.

Daan van Eck gave a presentation about his research on gas cell in-situ TEM with alkali-doped Ni catalysts for methane pyrolysis.

Min Tang (ex-MCC postdoctoral researcher, now at Zhejiang University) also presented on her work at Utrecht University.

We had a great time outside of the conference venue as well!
