On June 23^rd, at the annual KNCV meeting in Utrecht, Petra de Jongh received from Matthias Bickelhaupt, chair of the KNCV (Royal Netherlands Chemical Society) the official recognition of being elected a Chemistry Europe Fellow, for her contributions to the European chemistry community and science, for instance in editorial boards and via high impact publications in journals in the Europe Chemistry network as well as to the organisation of conferences, such as the 10th European Chemistry Conference in Antwerp in July.
