Prof. dr. Petra de Jongh presents the ANION project at the kick-off meeting.

On October 18th the Gravitation program ANION held its festive kick-off meeting in Leiden, in which several Debye chemists and physicists participated. In ANION the fundamentals of electrochemical processes are investigated for electrocatalysis and battery applications and Utrecht is the node for Nanomaterials research. Three projects were awarded in the first round: “Course Graining from ion hydration to transport” (lead René van Roij),  “Nanoscale in-situ TEM Electrochemistry of Batteries and Fuel Cells” (lead Marijn van Huis), and 3D Porous Model systems for Electrocatalysis” (Peter Ngene, Ben Erné and Petra de Jongh)
