Our group members participated in the 13^th International Conference on Inelastic X-ray Scattering (IXS2024), which was held in Himeji, Japan from 8 to 13 September 2024. Prof. dr. Frank de Groot was invited as a plenary speaker. Qijun Che and Masoud Lazemi presented posters on X-ray spectroscopy of infinite-layer nickelates and perovskite transition metal oxides. Prof. de Groot traveled to Tokyo on September 10 to join the conference “70 years of the Tanabe-Sugano diagrams“, where he was invited as a plenary speaker.
