Last week, our group members dr. Petra de Jongh, dr. Peter Ngene, Juliette Verschoor, and Jonas Hehn travelled to Saint-Malo, France for the 18th International Symposium on Metal-Hydrogen Systems. On Monday, Juliette presented her recent work on “Metal Hydride Nanocomposite Materials as TM-free Catalysts for Ammonis Synthesis”. Next, on Wednesday, Jonas gave a presentation about “Interface-Induced High Ionic Conductivity in Li2B12H12/Oxide Nanocomposite Electrolytes for All-Solidstate Lithium-Ion Batteries”. Finally, on Thursday, Peter gave a talk on “Interface-Engineered Fast Ionic Conductivity in Complex Hydride-Based Nanocomposite Solid Electrolytes” and presented a poster on “Mixed Ionic-Electronic Conductivity in K2NiF4-Type Complex Hydrides”.
