In February, we welcomed Kyra van Nieuwkerk, Sonja Wilms, and Robert John Wolterbeek as new PhD candidates in our group. Kyra will be working on “Mixed metal oxides for CO₂ to methanol conversion” under the supervision of Prof. Petra de Jongh. Sonja will be working on “Developing catalysts for hydroprocessing of bio-derived and renewable hydrocarbon feedstocks for the production of e-fuels” RJ will be working on “Developing catalysts to synthesize liquid fuels (“e-fuels”) from circular sources“. Sonja and RJ are both supervised by Prof. Pieter Bruijnincx and Prof. Petra de Jongh.
