From March 2nd till March 4th, members of MCC ventured out to the West of the Netherlands to attend the annual Dutch Catalysis and Chemistry Conference (NCCC). Once more, our PhD students, postdocs, and MSc students were proud to present their research.

PhD candidate Just Pé Jonasse presented his work on strain-engineered gold/copper-platinum core-shell nanoparticles, including some exciting results for the effect of strain on the CO and H2 binding energy.

PhD candidate Daan van Eck shared some of his fascinating research on the effect of alkali promotors on nickel-catalyzed methane decomposition.
