Two weeks ago, Juliette, Marta, Daan and Hidde were at the North American Catalysis Society Meeting in Atlanta. The conference opened with a spectacular cocktail party in the Georgia Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the world. A group of inspiring catalysis researchers in one room, together with some whale sharks, dolphins, penguins and hammerhead sharks, what more do you want?

Juliette, Marta, Daan and Hidde also gave oral presentations at the conference, after which they engaged in interesting discussions. Also, they visited many interesting presentations, such as those of award recipients David Flaherty and Bert Weckhuysen and the John Monnier memorial session. Besides all that, they enjoyed American culture and many fun dinners in Atlanta.
